Joining Together with a Shared Vision.

Richmond Kickers Youth Soccer Club and Poseidon Swimming are joining together to build a regional sports complex - the first of its kind in the greater Richmond area. Local children and youth from all socio-economic backgrounds will have access to an outstanding state of the art facility in which to play soccer and swim. Opportunities will exist for all children, from those whoare accomplished in their sport to those who can experience swimming and soccer for the first time.

The regional sports complex will be the finest of its kind on the East Coast, positioning the Richmond area as a destination for competitive soccer and swimming. Major regional and national swim meets, other aquatic events and soccer tournaments will boost our local economy. The positive economic impact on the region (estimated to exceed $2,000,000 annually) helped us earn enthusiastic support from Sportsbackers and Chesterfield County.

Chesterfield County is working toward changes in the master plan that will change the status of surrounding park land from passive to active. With this adaptation, the County proposes building two additional fields and providing additional access and parking for the facility.
